Lance Armstrong, Roger Clemens: Men in the same line of smirk
Good article. I've been following the Armstrong case for years now, waiting patiently to see him brought to justice by an America that almost always has its head buried in the sand where its "heroes" are concerned.
It's always interesting to read the comments in any news story on Armstrong doping allegations. Across the board, there are striking parallels to comments in his defense. As a digital marketing/social media professional, it's clear to me the Armstrong camp pays decent money for trolls to try and sway public sentiment with their inane comments under these stories. You can bet his PR firm and/or lawyers are behind the lion's share of these pro-Armstrong comments. It's all they have left to profit from.

Well put. This is a side of Armstrong's PR machine which is seldom mentioned. I fear that most Americans have their head too far in the sand to conceive that "propaganda for hire" is even available.
I've read of LA's relationship with Public Strategies Inc, a PR firm which apparently offers these deceptively coercive services. Here's one link from the vaults:

Also check out Bazaarvoice as another likely source of disinformation on him.
